They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
Our hearts desire is to be an Acts 2 kind of church where they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, they devoted themselves to prayer, and they devoted themselves to fellowship, or community.
We believe these are the essential pillars of a healthy church. We are passionately committed to teaching the Word of God and equipping saints for the works of service so that the Body of Christ can become mature.
We are passionately committed to prayer. We believe prayer is the conduit of God’s power to this world and we regularly fast and pray as a body.
We are passionately committed to community. At CCC we believe that the Kingdom of God is all about relationships-loving God and loving people. At the heart of CCC is the desire to demonstrate the love of Jesus in relationship with one another. We believe this kind of love penetrates towns, and cities and draws people to the source of that love-Jesus Christ.
We truly believe that God is raising up CCC to be a people that will not only impact Bureau County, but will carry the power of the gospel to many nations. Check out our mission’s page!
We would love to have you come and visit our Sunday Worship Celebration and experience Christ, the One who can change your life! During the week, we also invite you to one of our small groups in various homes throughout Bureau County. These small groups, or “Life Groups” as we call them, are a core value to who we are, knowing that the church is not a building, but a people gathering together, sharing life together in Jesus name. |
